IP stands for International Protection Code, and is used to identify the level of protection. The IP rating consists of two numbers, the first indicating protection from dust, the second indicating protection from water. The higher the number on Jib crane remote control , the greater the protection.
Below is the meaning of two numbers:
Dust-proof rating(First number Indicated:)
Level 0: No protection.
Level 1: Prevents against large solid objects.
Level 2: Prevents against medium-sized solid objects
Level 3: Prevents against small solid objects
Level 4: Prevents against objects larger than 1mm
Level 5: Prevents harmful dust accumulation.
Level 6: Completely prevents dust from entering.
Waterproof rating (second number indicates):
Level 0: No protection.
Level 1: Protection against dripping water.
Level 2: Protection against flowing water when the housing is tilted up to 15°.
Level 3: Protection against spray from any angle up to 60°.
Level 4: Protection against splashing from any direction.
Level 5: Protection against water jets from any direction with no damage.
Level 6: Watertight and suitable for use in ship’s cabin environment.
Level 7: Can be submerged in up to 1m of water for a short period of time.
Level 8: Withstands long periods of immersion under a certain level of pressure.
